Practice

Alpine Country Club offers a full range of Practice Facilities to sharpen your game.

Driving Range

Our Driving Range has 18 hitting stations. In peak season, we typically use grass on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings and artificial grass at other times in order to preserve the vegetation. Due to limited distance of our range, all male members and guests must use yellow limited flight balls from the grass when using a Driver, Fairway Wood or Hybrid. Longer hitters must use these balls even from artificial grass mats.

Putting and Chipping Green

The Putting Green is located behind the Golfhouse between the 9th and 18th greens. There is another Putting Green and small Chipping Green located directly behind the Driving Range.

Short Game Facility

The Nick Lassman Short Game Facility opened in 2006 and is located just south of the Practice Tee. This practice facility features a large green with two bunkers, plus fairway, fringe and rough areas to hone all your short game skills.

Golf Simulator

Our state-of-the art simulator enables you to utilize it as a range for practice, to take lessons when the range is closed and to play a virtual round of golf on over 30 different golf courses. It also is equipped with three cameras to allow the player and instructor, when applicable, to view swings from different angles. The simulator also gives swing data such as swing speed, launch angle, spin rate, club head speed and distance.

Club Fitting Services

Alpine’s Golf Professional Staff offers state-of-the-art club fitting services. Whether you’re looking for the hottest new driver, a new set of irons or a complete fit, we have you covered. We use the Foresight GC-2 launch monitor to measure ball speed, launch angle and spin. In addition, our trained Professional Staff uses the latest fitting systems from TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping and Mizuno.
